In anti‐IL‐27 mAb‐treated antimalarial‐untreated mice, the levels of parasitemia reduced and clinical score recovered after 10 days of infection, and mice survived the infection, while parasitemia levels continued to increase, clinical scores continued to increase, and body weights reduced in all other three groups, with mice eventually succumbing to death (Fig 7G). Here, IL27 is linked to parasitic infectious disease.
