MACROH2A1 and myelodysplastic syndrome: Compared to controls, only LR-MDS cases had a significant increased expression of mH2A1 (28.45 ± 21.52%, p < 0.05 compared to controls; Fig. 1C), while HR-MDS showed a wide range of protein expression, from low to high levels of positive cell percentages (with a mean value of 22.22 ± 24.22%).
