Several of the genes targeted by miR-28 in B cells, including Bcl-2, NF-κB2 and IRAK1, have been shown to be essential for oncogenic signaling in the ABC and GCB genetic subtypes of DLBCL [48], and our findings are thus in agreement with the anti-tumor effect of miR-28 observed in ABC- and GCB-DLBCL. Here, IRAK1 is linked to aneurysmal bone cyst.
