What is more, CXCL14 showed statistical differences only between the control group and stage I/I + II of CRC, which, in connection with the previously acquired information about the decreasing concentration of this parameter in the course of CRC, may indicate an attempt of healthy cells to equalize CXCL14 concentration in order to prevent tumor progression, or on the contrary, about the collapse of the organism’s antitumoral action, depending on the adopted functions performed by CXCL14. The gene discussed is CXCL14; the disease is neoplasm.
