Among the DEGs in CD14+ monocytes, 1265, 899, 332 and 232 genes were upregulated in COVID-19 patients with mild-moderate disease, severe disease, acute necrotizing encephalopathy and non-acute necrotizing encephalopathy, respectively, of which, 175 were shared (Fig. 6a and Supplementary Table 6). This evidence concerns the gene CD14 and COVID-19.
