Three weeks after the injection of rAAV2/2-CRH-Cre together with rAAV2/9-EF1α-Flex-taCasp3-TEVp (encoding the fusion protein taCasp3-TEVp, which causes host neuron apoptosis; ref. 48) or rAAV2/9-EF1α-DIO-EYFP (as a control) viruses into the bilateral CeM to ablate the CRH neurons, we inoculated 4T1-luc tumor cells into the mammary glands of BALB/c mice (Figure 4, A and B).
