Subsequently, we conducted a comprehensive assessment of various kidney cancers and discovered that the levels of phosphoglycerate mutase-1 (PGAM1) were elevated in both clear cell renal cell carcinoma (KIRC) and papillary renal cell carcinoma (KIRP) but reduced in chromophobe renal cell carcinoma (KICH) (Figure 2A). The gene discussed is PGAM1; the disease is chromophobe renal cell carcinoma.
