CRP and Sepsis: When comparing clinical and laboratory data, we found a higher frequency of fever (61.1% vs. 42.6%; p < 0.001) and sepsis (3,4% vs. 0.7%; p = 0.037) and higher levels of C-reactive protein (14.6 mg/L vs. 6.9 mg/L; p < 0.001) in patients with viral coinfections.
