These phenomena were also observed in diethylnitrosamine-induced (DEN-induced) mouse liver cancers, i.e., predominant expression of NUMB-PTBS, enhanced cytoplasmic distribution of NUMB and MARK2, and predominant nuclear localization of YAP in DEN-induced mouse liver tumor tissues compared with adjacent normal tissues (Figure 10G and Supplemental Figure 17, B and C).
