VCAM1 has been reported to be blocked through various approaches, such as neutralizing antibody, genetical modification, or chemical compounds (e.g., AGI-1067), to improve atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and so on (Carter et al., 2002; Park et al., 2013; Furuta et al., 2021).
