Regarding myocardial infarction, a study of high-throughput RNA sequencing found that 3,862 circRNAs are dysregulated in peripheral blood, and the differentially expressed circ-TMEM165, circ-UBAC2, circ-ZNF609, circ-ANKRD12, and circ-SLC8A1 are confirmed in the AC16 cell model [24]. This evidence concerns the gene TMEM165 and myocardial infarction.
