First, we analyzed the mRNA levels of CEP20 in 61 pairs of tumor and para-carcinoma tissues and found a significant upregulation in the tumor samples compared to the para-carcinoma controls, consistent with the results of gene microarray and RNA-seq analyses based on NSCLC samples in the GEO and TCGA databases (Figs. 1A, B and S1A–C). This evidence concerns the gene CEP20 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
