It has been shown that CD58/CD2 interaction stimulated the synergistic secretion of CXC chemokine ligand 8 (CXCL-8/IL-8) of human intestinal CD3 + TCRαβ + CD8+ intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) [17], and CXCL-8 induces cell proliferation and migration, promoting tumor cell growth in CRC [18,19].
