TGFB1 and Eczematoid dermatitis: Morita et al. found that eczema was associated with higher TGF-β1 levels in colostrum, but lower in 1-month milk, thus a lower TGF-β1 ratio (1-month milk/colostrum) was related to the development of eczema during the first 6 months of life, while the TGF-β2 ratio did not correlate to eczema later in life.
