KRT17 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma: Our pilot analysis of 26 HNSCC patients treated with pembrolizumab-based therapy suggests that CK17 status, as determined via immunohistochemistry (IHC), correlates with lack of disease control with ICB and a shorter progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) [4], generating the hypothesis that CK17 expression may be an informative biomarker for predicting inferior response to ICB in HNSCC patients.
