To the best of our knowledge, Fox et al. identified the first case of a 71-year-old male with heart failure and sleep-disordered breathing, in which administering sacubitril/valsartan therapy was linked to enhanced cardiac function, evidenced by a reduction in NT-proBNP levels and an improvement in LVEF and a substantial decrease in the AHI. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and heart failure.
