Collectively, these findings highlight how the MRs identified in our study, including those mentioned above and those widely recognized and relevant to the pathogenesis of periodontitis, such as NFkB1, RELA, STAT3, and GATA3, among others, consistently demonstrate their role as regulators of a variety of essential processes associated with the periodontitis pathogenesis.
