Adjusted for APOE-ɛ4, individuals with a PRS falling within the fourth quartile or tenth decile had a higher risk of dementia compared to those in the first quartile/decile: OR = 1.85 (95% CI = 1.25–2.74; p-value = 0.002) and OR = 2.27 (95% CI = 1.22–4.28; p-value = 0.01), respectively. The gene discussed is APOE; the disease is dementia.
