Few studies already suggested that the levels of PANK1 and 2, but not 4, isoforms, known to positively regulate CoA rate of synthesis (Giessner et al, 2018), were positively associated with a better outcome in clear cell renal cell carcinoma and acute myeloid leukemia, respectively (Liu et al, 2019; Wang et al, 2022). Here, PANK1 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
