In oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), Li et al. compared extracellular vesicles derived from human primary tumour cells and matched lymph node metastatic (LN1) cells and a related database, and identified seven factors, including GOT1, in 670 kinds of proteins, 217 types of miRNAs, 26 kinds of metabolites, and 63 kinds of lipids, associated with decreased survival rate and increased tumour invasiveness in patients with cancer [62]. This evidence concerns the gene GOT1 and neoplasm.
