MCCC2 and prostate carcinoma: In a study on the effect and mechanism of methyl crotonyl-CoA carboxylase 2 (MCCC2) in prostate cancer, Wang et al. found that MCCC2 is in direct proportion to GDH expression and promotes the proliferation, migration, and invasion of prostate cancer cells by regulating the GDH-p38 -MAPK signaling pathway (Fig. 1).
