Inhibition of CYP3A4 by Tribulus terrestris preparations was most likely associated with the increase in the concentration and the severity of side effects of citalopram (generalized pruritus (Citalopram Side Effects, 2023)), escitalopram (galactorrhea (Ravi et al., 2014)), and trazodone (psoriasis relapse (Barth and Baker, 1986)). This evidence concerns the gene CYP3A4 and Galactorrhea.
