ADIPOQ and hypertriglyceridemia: On girls with central obesity, the adiponectin levels were significantly lower than noncentral obesity (14.25 ± 6.09 vs. 22.53 ± 13.36 ng/ml; p=0.016) and on girls with hypertriglyceridemia (13.93 ± 9.91 vs. 16.83 ± 7.45 ng/ml; p=0.042).
