In a recent study report, researchers found that the expression level of VASH2 was abnormally elevated in some solid tumors such as gastric cancer, breast cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and pancreatic cancer, and promoted tumor angiogenesis under paracellular secretion, which was closely related to tumor prognosis20,21.
