In our study, only differences in prostate volume, initial PSA, alkaline phosphatase and LDH were found in prostate cancer patients with different progression rates, and further multifactor COX regression confirmed that initial tPSA and alkaline phosphatase were associated with the risk of CRPC, higher initial tPSA and LDH were risk factors for CRPC. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and prostate carcinoma.
