MMP3 and hepatocellular carcinoma: A considerable amount of research shows that in in vitro experiments, Leo can inhibit transcription factor AP1 in Hep G2 hepatocellular carcinoma cells through the Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway, reduce the expression of matrix metalloproteinase-3 (MMP-3), thereby significantly reducing the number of cells passing through the polycarbonate membrane and effectively inhibiting cell invasion and metastasis.
