Study from Cubillos-Ruiz et al. [19] showed that activation of ERS response factor XBP1 induced the biosynthesis of triglycerides in tumour-associated dendritic cells, resulting in abnormal lipid accumulation and inhibition of the ability of tumour-associated dendritic cells to support anti-tumour T cells, thereby promoting the progression of ovarian cancer.
