GSVA found that the remarkable enrichment pathways within the low ERS score group included “neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction”, “tryptophan metabolism”, “calcium signaling pathway”, etc. By contrast, “p53 signaling pathway”, “nucleotide excision repair”, “pancreatic cancer”, “cell cycle” and “pathways in cancer” were considerably enriched in the high ERS score group (Figure 6B). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
