Abnormal levels of hormones were common in children with ACC (n = 31), including serum testosterone (n = 17), progesterone (n = 17), estradiol (n = 11), cortisol (n = 10), follicle-stimulating hormone (n = 6), prolactin (n = 5), adrenocorticotropic hormone (n = 3), and luteinizing hormone (n = 1).
