Within this dataset, GCNT1 is 2.6-fold upregulated in the ‘metastatic subgroup’ compared to the ‘non-metastatic’ sub-group, suggesting upregulation of the GCNT1 gene in primary prostate cancer patients presenting with metastatic biology (n = 20, p = 0.0494) (Fig. 1C). The gene discussed is GCNT1; the disease is prostate cancer.
