From our imaging analyses, we found that in the imaging area of 512×512×44μm there were more PbA-specific CD8 T cells than CD4 T cells, and while the number of CD4 T cells slightly declined with time (84 versus 81 cells/movie for 6.5 versus 7 days post-infection), the number of CD8 T cells increased with time since infection (145 versus 305 cells/movie,Figure 2A and Supplemental Movie S1); both changes, however, were not statistically significant due to a small number of movies analyzed. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is infection.
