Figure 3 illustrates that after treatment with piperlongumine for 24 h there was a decrease in the growth-promoting oncogene cMyc and several markers of apoptosis, namely, decreased bcl-2 and survivin and increased cleaved caspase 3 and PARP in the 3 colon cancer cell lines (Figures 3A–C).
