Similarly, patients with focal FGFR2 amplifications, accounting for 1.5% of all breast cancer cohort patients, also exhibit a marked decrease in overall survival compared to the unaltered cohort (Fig. 7E) with median overall survival at 87.7 months (95% CI: 62.4–191.0), contrasting with the unaltered cohort at 163.5 months (95% CI: 154.0–172.9) (Additional files 35 and 36: Tables S10 and S11).
