AKT1 and breast carcinoma: In this study, we found that lnc-Helf bound with PTBP1 and promoted its translocation into the cytoplasm, thus facilitating its interaction with Pik3r5 mRNA, resulting in increased stability and AKT pathway activation, which is consistent with the previous study where PTBP1 promoted the progression of breast cancer via the AKT pathway [39].
