Multiplex IF staining of the tissue microarrays was successfully completed for the markers in 2 panels, CD31 (endothelial cells), IBA1 (macrophages), αSMA (myofibroblasts), PDPN [a marker of lymphatic endothelial cells], vimentin (marker of the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition), KRT19 (tumor stem cells), CD163 (anti-inflammatory macrophages), CD11b (macrophages, NK cells), CCR7 (dendritic cells, NK cells, T cells), CD11c (dendritic cells), and CCL21 (T cells),in the tumor and mammary gland tissues (Fig. 4, Supplementary Fig. 3). The gene discussed is VIM; the disease is neoplasm.
