Despite preclinical evidence23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and substantial evidence from case reports of resolution of psoriasis whilst on treatment with anti‐VEGF‐A therapies,29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 the effects of VEGF‐A inhibition remain unexplored in psoriasis, thus raising the question of whether anti‐VEGF‐A therapy could be integrated into psoriasis management by repurposing licenced anti‐VEGF‐A biologicals. The gene discussed is VEGFA; the disease is psoriasis.
