We discovered that ACAA2 expression is lower in lung cancer patients who were exposed to platinum-based therapy relative to non-treated patients, and that increased ACAA2 was associated with worse overall survival in lung adenocarcinoma (P = 2.2*10-4) and neuroblastoma patients (P = 2.77*10-2) (Fig. 6). This evidence concerns the gene ACAA2 and lung adenocarcinoma.
