Although one prior RCT did not find that adding, nor substituting, avocado intake a test meal altered post-prandial insulin or glucose responses [16], this study focused on a population of adults with normoglycemia, supporting our finding that the many of the associations between avocado and glycemia were limited to those with dysglycemia (i.e., prediabetes and/or T2D).
