Nuclear factor kappa‐B (NF‐κB) is the direct transcriptional activator of TNF‐α and IL‐17A, and because it is the main regulator of the immune response, targeting should benefit a large group of patients.[7] Therefore, we chose NF‐κB as the treatment target to block the inflammatory cycle of psoriasis to maximize patient benefits. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and psoriasis.
