Although not a study endpoint, the number of anti-VEGF injections required in eyes after conversion within the study window was lower in the VPT group compared to the SCA group, with SCA eyes receiving between 3.9× (non-encounter matched) and 4.5× (encounter matched) more injections than VPT group or VPT-treated eyes after neovascular conversion (Supplemental Data). This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and autosomal dominant cerebellar ataxia.
