The criteria include women ≥ 45 years with unifocal or multifocal tumor (if total span of tumor is ≤ 3 cm), pTis, pT1–2 (≤ 3 cm), pN0, all invasive subtypes and DCIS, any hormone receptor status, no invasive tumor on ink, negative margins by at least 2 mm for DCIS and women without BRCA genetic mutation or other genetic mutation that confers an increased risk of breast cancer [22].
