In summary, we can tentatively conclude that Ganosporelactone B, the active ingredient of G. lucidum triterpenes, can improve the imbalance of intestinal flora by targeting the activation of apoptosis and p53 pathways through the inhibition of CASP3 and ultimately prevent the occurrence and development of NHBV-related HCC (Figure 7).
