In pancreatic cancer cells, the combined treatment with siGRP78 (small-interfering RNA (siRNA) for GRP78) reduced the percentages of chemotherapeutic drug efflux to 27.1% and 2.9%–0.56% and 0.68%, respectively, compared with that of gemcitabine or PTX alone. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA5 and pancreatic neoplasm.
