NF1 and neoplasm: The M-H subgroup was associated with NF1 mutations characteristic of mesenchymal GBM {Verhaak, 2010 #293}, expressions of EMT-related genes and proteins {Zarkoob, 2013 #443}, increased infiltration of pro-tumor immune cells, including M2 macrophages and Treg cells {Chen, 2018 #370; Kaffes, 2019 #369}, and tumor angiogenesis/vascularization {Phillips, 2006 #218}.
