Within the COVID-19 acute patient group, the TCR repertoire size (all CDR3α and CDR3β, independent of SARS-CoV-2 specificity) was on average 663 ± 430 (n = 30) for the activated and 1713 ± 795 (n = 26) for the nonactivated CD8+ T-cell subsets. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and COVID-19.
