Next, we explored the functions or pathways of the two groups, and the results showed that KEGG pathways in cancer, KEGG cell cycle, gobp protein targeting, gocc mitochondrial matrix, gobp small GTPase-mediated signal transduction, etc., were more enriched in the GLDC-high group than in the GLDC-low group (figure 8C-D, supplementary table 5-6), these evidences might reveal the potential mechanisms for the poor prognosis of GLDC in prostate cancer. This evidence concerns the gene GLDC and Familial prostate cancer.
