CD47 and lymphoma: Clinically, encouraging results were achieved with the CD47 antibody magrolimab (hu5F9 G4) in combination with the CD20 antibody rituximab in a clinical phase Ib study in lymphoma patients and in combination with azacitidine and venetoclax in a phase I/II trial in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients, providing a rationale for further investigation of phagocytosis checkpoint inhibitors and their clinical development (27, 28).
