ALB and bacterial urinary tract infection: For the laboratory results collected at the first time point, higher packed cell volume (PCV, p = 0.049) and higher serum potassium (K+, p = 0.020) were associated with an increased risk of UTI, whereas after receiving appropriate therapeutic intervention, laboratory tests collected at the second time point showed that higher hemoglobin (Hb, p = 0.048), lower albumin (ALB, p = 0.049), higher serum potassium (K+, p < 0.001), higher serum sodium (Na+, p = 0.048), and higher serum chloride (Cl-, p = 0.012) were associated with a higher risk of potential UTI.
