Univariable logistic regression analyses revealed that the presence of petechia, encephalopathy, hepatosplenomegaly and stage 2 or 3 AKI, old age, and decreased albumin, low fibrinogen, and elevated levels of AST, ALP, GGT, LDH, TG, uric acid, AMY, lipase, CK-MB, PT, APTT, TT, IL-6 and viral load were risk factors for fatal outcomes in patients with SFTS. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and acute kidney injury.
