A meta-analysis summarizing the effects of glucose-lowering drugs on stroke risk showed that glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists and thiazolidinediones reduced stroke risk, while sulfonylureas, dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors, metformin, sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors, α-glucosidase inhibitors, and meglitinides had no significant effect on stroke risk [6]. Here, DPP4 is linked to stroke disorder.
