The flow cytometry analysis also showed that overexpression of BEX2K59R increased the levels of apoptosis compared with the group of BEX2 overexpression (Fig. 4G, H and Supplementary Fig. 6E), suggesting that BEX2 crotonylation modification plays a critical role in inhibiting apoptosis in NSCLC cancer cells.
