In summary, our study revealed that lncRNA TIALD acted as a tumor suppressor which was down-regulated via METTL16 mediated m6A methylation, and contributed to HCC metastasis via inducing degradation of AURKA, and AURKA inhibitor alisertib exhibited significant effect of inhibiting metastasis in TIALD knockdown HCC. This evidence concerns the gene AURKA and hepatocellular carcinoma.
